Dr. Gabriel Patino has practiced medicine since 1981. He began training in a level I Trauma Center at the U.C. Davis General Surgery East Bay Program after graduating from medical school. While Dr. Patino was working in the trauma center, he had the opportunity to perform various kinds of major surgery. Dr. Patino then completed his internal medicine residency at the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. Dr. Patino is board certifed and re-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
In 1989, Dr. Patino started his private practice as an emergency surgeon at Saint Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco. He became medical director of the surgical house staff in 1991. Dr. Patino has practiced cosmetic surgery since 1997 and is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
Dr. Patino's extensive combined multi specialty training and experience in General Surgery, Emergency Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Cosmetic Surgery makes him the ideal Cosmetic Surgeon.
He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. In addition he holds current certifications on Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
Dr. Patino is fluent in both Spanish and French and can communicate well in German, Italian, and Portuguese.
